Richmond

Interior Design: In Addition

Programa was founded on a simple idea, to give designers more time to design.

Designed by In Addition and constructed by de Lune, Programa's new Richmond headquarters brings this thinking into the physical environment, creating a workplace that balances the practical demands of a growing technology business with the creativity of the industry it serves.

Curved partitions define a series of private workspaces, while open workstations, meeting rooms and communal areas encourage different ways of working. Custom timber joinery and furniture built by de Lune brings continuity throughout, with carefully resolved junctions between contrasting materials providing moments of quiet detail.

The completed space reflects an approach shared by Programa, In Addition and de Lune, that good outcomes are shaped by the thinking, decisions and processes behind them.

A workplace designed to support the people who shape the spaces around us.

A series of curved partitions creates private workspaces within Programa HQ's open plan interior. Custom American Oak timber framed glazing, integrated desks and contrasting carpet introduce definition without disconnecting the rooms from the wider office. Constructed by de Lune, the curved walls provide a softer architectural response to the building's exposed concrete structure.
